Tony established the AWDS Group in 1988 and has over 35 years of experience and extensive knowledge in Third Party Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Tony has made a major investment of time and personal effort to ensure the success and growth of AWDS from a “greenfield” site to the dynamic service orientated, viable logistics business of today. This extensive industry knowledge and commitment to Online Technology with a very determined “hands on” approach has created the considerable growth of the AWDS Group business since inception, firmly placing the business at the forefront of Third Party Logistics providers in Adelaide. Tony is a member of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Logistics Association of Australia Pty Ltd.

Robert was appointed to the role of Finance Manager in March 2015. Robert is responsible for the finance team as well as HR, WHS and General Management. Robert’s 20 years of experience as an accountant and Financial Manager spans public and privately held companies, nationally and internationally in the oil, manufacturing, aircraft sales, wine industry and publishing industries. Robert has worked for a diverse range of companies with his main focus as Finance Manager and Financial Controller. Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce (accounting major) from Deakin University, and is a Fellow of the Public Institute of Accountants.

Tim has a great deal of experience in the computer industry, having started in 1977. This wide-ranging background in IT encompasses a variety of business types including warehousing, logistics, computer support (Helpdesk) and computer education. Tim has been in his role as IT Systems Manager since 2005 and has brought a comprehensive knowledge base in system development to further the advancements that are being achieved by enhancing the underlying AWDS Client Warehouse Management System. He also brings an excellent customer service approach which further complements our existing culture. Tim works closely with our principals to ensure compatible systems are implemented and maintained. His extensive knowledge and experience ensures we preserve our position at the forefront of warehouse and transport management system technology.

Having joined the AWDS Group in 2016 Glen has over 20 years’ experience in National and Local Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distributions organisations. With many years as a distribution centre Manager Glen has the knowledge and experience to bring together the many services AWDS has to offer, providing our principals with the benefits they expect in receiving service excellence for their customers.
